No House To Stay In Hyderabad: KTR

Yesterday, Telangana assembly was absolutely lit up by chief minister Revanth Reddy, who spoke at length about the alleged illegal accumulation of wealth for the KCR family. He said the KCR family gained more than 400 acres of land in Telangana through antisocial activities.

So it was the natural responsibility of KTR to react on this topic, and he did so today in front of the Telugu media.

“It is true that KCR was born into a wealthy family. KCR was born in 1954 in a landlord family. Our house in Chintamadaka was almost two acres. He was not born into a small family,” KTR said.

He said the family’s forefathers had owned hundreds of acres in Chintamadaka and claimed that the details were available in government records.

Today, KCR has just 67 acres and he has been staying at his farm house in the outskirts of the city. “We don’t have a proper house to stay together as a family in Hyderabad and this reflects our situation. KCR is staying in his farmhouse while I am staying in Narsingi.”

KTR went on to push the blame on chief minister Revanth Reddy as he said no one knows the ancestral history of Revanth and accumulated so much wealth and land.

“We are ready to face an external audit from a reputed Supreme Court judge. We will cooperate and disclose our family with details with them. Can Revanth Reddy do the same thing with his family assets?” KTR cross questioned.

Telangana politics, seven hours started to revolve around the topics of lands, money and ancestral status as this appears to be the new discourse in the state political landscape for now.
