Liquor Case Speeds Up: Jagan Meets Ex Mp For Mediation?

The controversial AP liquor scam case has put the previous Jagan government’s governance, the YSRCP network and alleged loopholes in the administration under the spotlight. As the investigation gathers pace, YS Jagan appears to be facing increasing pressure.

In the latest development, APSBCL Special Officer D. Satya Prasad, one of the key accused in the liquor scam case, reportedly turned approver. In his confession statement before the ACB court, he allegedly stated that YS Jagan was the ultimate beneficiary of the alleged Rs 3,200-crore liquor scam.

With this development, the focus is completely shifted towards Jagan. It is alleged that Jagan’s close aide Raj Kesireddy managed the collection network involving distilleries and suppliers, with the money allegedly routed through key aides, former officials and family members before reaching the top.

Earlier, the ED arrested Raj Kesireddy and former minister Karumuri Venkata Nageswara Rao under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. Former minister Ambati Rambabu also received ED notices.

Against this backdrop, the liquor scam investigation appears to have gained momentum, putting Jagan under mounting pressure. His recent meeting with businessman and Ex YCP MP Parimal Nathwani, a close associate of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, has now triggered fresh speculation online.

A recent picture of Jagan with Parimal Nathwani is now doing the rounds on social media, adding fuel to the speculation that Jagan may be seeking relief amid the intensifying liquor scam investigation.

Questions are being raised over whether Jagan met Nathwani, allegedly seeking his help or intervention, given Nathwani’s reported proximity to the Ambani family. However, these are only speculations doing the rounds and have not been independently verified.
