Why They Call Lokesh AP’s Dolo 650

AP Minister Nara Lokesh has revealed a rather unusual nickname he has earned from industrialists in the state. Some of them reportedly call him “AP Dolo 650” because they turn to him whenever they face problems related to their businesses or investments.

Speaking during his recent Gujarat visit, Lokesh explained the comparison in a lighter vein. He said people usually remember Dolo 650 when they have a headache and forget about it once the pain is gone. In a similar way, investors approach him when they face a problem, and he tries to get it resolved quickly.

Lokesh said his role does not end with solving an individual complaint. He wants to identify why the issue happened and take steps to ensure other investors do not face the same problem.

The minister has been actively meeting industrialists and promoting Andhra Pradesh as an investment destination. His direct approach with investors has also helped him build a reputation for responding quickly to their concerns.

Lokesh cited his interaction with an industrialist from Tamil Nadu as another example. When the businessman sought suggestions on the best Indian state to set up a ₹300 crore solar-related unit, Lokesh invited him to consider Andhra Pradesh and assured him of the state’s support.
