Naidu & Lokesh Shield FM Nirmala From Congress’s Political Attack!

Andhra Pradesh is witnessing significant progress with regard to agricultural infrastructure and also investment index. Last weekend, there was this massive event in Madanapalle, which was attended by finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Anant Ambani.

There was one very interesting incident that happened while Nirmala Sitharaman was addressing the massive crowd that had gathered.

The noise from the crowd was a bit too much to handle for the finance minister, and she gestured them to settle down. Chief minister Chandrababu had to intervene and advised the public to be seated so that the finance minister can continue the speech.

However, this video was quickly reimagined and misrepresented by the opposition camps. Certain YCP social media handles and even Congress handles spread a malicious narrative.

Congress MP Jayaram Ramesh posted “The Finance Minister herself is seeing how much anger there is among the public. The Chief Minister had to silence the people.”

What really happened was the crowd got too energetic and started to cheer while the Finance minister was delivering the speech, and she had to take a brief break. This is being maliciously miscarried by saying Nirmala was abrupt by the public.

This false narrative was quickly debunked by Andhra Pradesh, IT Minister Lokesh and CM Chandrababu, who were also at the venue and shared the stage with Nirmala Sitharaman.

“This is how fake news is manufactured and then amplified by senior Congress leaders without even bothering to verify the facts.

There was no disruption of the Finance Minister’s speech by local youth demanding jobs. The claim being circulated is completely false. A normal interaction with an enthusiastic gathering is being deliberately clipped, twisted and given a fabricated narrative.” Lokesh replied to Congress’s Jairam Ramesh.

Chandrababu Naidu also strongly countered Jairam Ramesh over his remarks on the incident involving Finance Minister. He clarified that the crowd’s response was driven by enthusiasm rather than anger and that he intervened briefly to ensure the programme continued smoothly. He also criticized attempts to misrepresent public enthusiasm for political gains.

The level of misinformation that is being carried on social media is simply astounding and this new set of events are clearly implying the same.

Firstly, this event was a tremendous success where Anant Ambani announced significant agricultural investments in Andhra Pradesh. The finance minister was also seen in an energetic avatar.

While there is so much positive about this event, the opposition is trying to divert the attention and spin a negative narrative on it, commented a neutral observer.
