The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has announced its candidates for mayor and municipal chairman posts across several towns and cities in Andhra Pradesh.
The party has named candidates for seven mayor posts and seven municipal chairman posts. The list includes leaders from different regions of the state.
Mayor Candidates
Kolagatla Sravani has been named the mayor candidate for Vizianagaram, while Varudu Kalyani will be the party’s candidate for Visakhapatnam. Ganta Mohan Rao (GMR) has been selected for Eluru, and Lanka Jyothi for Machilipatnam.
Kuppam Prasad will contest for the Ongole mayor post, while Anam Vijay Kumar Reddy has been named the candidate for Nellore. Bandi Deepti Reddy will be the party’s mayor candidate for Kadapa.
Municipal Chairman Candidates
For municipal chairman posts, YSRCP has named Rajyalakshmi for Ichchapuram, Talasu Sripadma for Palasa, and Chintakayala Anitha for Narsipatnam.
B. Tulasi has been selected for Yelamanchili, while Pitla Ramatulasi will be the candidate for Tuni. Manne Padma has been named for Kovvur, and Nageswara Rao for Ramachandrapuram.
The announcement marks the party’s preparations for the upcoming municipal elections in Andhra Pradesh.
