Maturity and Humane: Lokesh Handling Raptadu Issue With Care!

Maturity and humanity at the two crucial aspects that are expected from a successful politician, and it can perhaps be argued that Lokesh displayed both of these in the way he handled the Raptadu case.

After an innocent girl child was brutally hacked by a 21 year-old psychopath in a government School in Raptadu, the entire Telugu community burned with rage. The responsibility was on the government administration to deliver timely justice.

This was precisely when minister Lokesh entered the scene and he handled the entire episode with a lot of dignity and humane touch.

First, it was the instant creation of the green channel to transport the victim to the famous Manipal Hospital in Bengaluru. Lokesh ensured that the procedure was executed flawlessly. He went to Bengaluru to visit the victim and stand with the family members. He even gave his personal phone number to the parents to reach out.

This is not the end of the story, either as Lokesh has been posting periodic updates on the recovery of this innocent girl, who was brutally mauled. He had been sharing fresh updates on her everyday and the public is keeping track of the same.

Every aspect of this incident, including the recovery of the victim who is taken off ventilator support and responding, to the punishment of the culprit who had his leg removed, things are streamlined.

While Jagan tried to politicise the issue by saying that the victim’s uncle is a YCP leader, Lokesh kept it purely social and wanted that well-being of the victim rather than self elevations.

Considering the gravity of the case, Andhra Pradesh public has been watching this episode with a close eye and Lokesh has ticked most of the boxes very well which is a sign of an evolving and humane leader.
