Car Accident: Air Bags Saved Azharuddin

Former Lok Sabha MP, Indian cricket’s ex Captain and Hyderabad Cricket Association President Mohammad Azharuddin has met with a road mishap in Rajasthan but he escaped unhurt. Going into details, Azhar was on his way to Jaisalmer with family to celebrate the New Year.

At Soorwal, the car lost control and rammed into a shed. The car’s front got damaged in this mishap and being a high-end car, the airbags have saved Azhar and others who were in the car. According to the cricketer’s personal assistant, Azhar did not sustain any major injuries and is very much safe.

By the time police reached the spot, Azhar is said to have left the place in another. The police are investigating the accident and might question Azhar whether he was over-speeding during the incident.

It can be recalled that Azharuddin had lost his son Ayazuddin in a road mishap in 2011. 19-year-old budding cricketer Ayazuddin succumbed to injuries in a bike accident. Ayazuddin is Azhar’s youngest son from his separated wife.
