Sharing memes and trolls on Indian politicians is not a novelty and among them, Rahul Gandhi has always stood on the top. Be it on his previous interviews, or public speeches, Mr Gandhi was mocked for various reasons and on multiple occasions.
The other day, he became the butt of jokes on the internet all over again as he was also present in the parliament during the Union Budget 2021 presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
This year’s budget brought mixed emotions as some expressed their happiness while some were disgruntled calling it favourable to rich more than the middle class and poor. Amid the tension and strong attention, netizens were quick to put all their observation on Rahul Gandhi. The image of him sitting allegedly ‘bored’ went viral in no time and it looked more like an ill-timed photograph than the actual claim.
The picture shows Rahul Gandhi with a mask on and a semi-facepalm posture. It looked as if he is apathetic towards the budget session. Within no time, netizens came up with hilarious stuff mocking him for getting bored in the parliament.
Apart from this, the salient points from 2021 Budget are – Support MSMEs, farmers and workers to generate employment, Increase Healthcare expenditure to save lives, and Increase Defence expenditure to safeguard borders.
