India’s leading industrialist and Chairman of Tata groups, Ratan Tata is a role model for any entrepreneur. His insights in business are still afresh and they make wonders if keenly followed. But there are a section of people who think that he did not get the due recognition from the Indian government and so a motivational speaker started this trend called ‘Bharat Ratna’ to Ratan Tata.
The speaker of Dr. Vivek Bindra and taking to his Twitter, he initiated this hashtag trend #BharatRatnaForRatanTata. This hashtag was trending on top on Friday and finally it reached the attention of Ratan Tata too and here is how he reacted to it.
“While I appreciate the sentiments expressed by a section of the social media in terms of an award, I would humbly like to request that such campaigns be discontinued. Instead, I consider myself fortunate to be an Indian and to try and contribute to India’s growth and prosperity,” tweeted Ratan Tata and settled the issue.
That’s the humbleness of Ratan Tata, we all must learn to be successful in whatever path we take.
But certainly hope the Indian government would consider conferring the highest civilian award to Tata.
