Why Nani’s Old Videos Going Viral Now?

After serving the show cause notice to minister Kodali Nani, State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar directed for registering a case against Nani for the derogatory statements made against him. The SEC issued orders to the SP of Krishna district to file cases against Nani under Sections 504, 505 and 506 of IPC.

Further, Ramesh Kumar also asked Nani not to address press meets till the panchayat polls were completed on February 21. Till then, Nani should not speak in meetings or groups. This orders would come into force immediately. Nimmagadda told the Krishna district collector, SP and Vijayawada police commissioner to ensure that the orders were implemented strictly.

In a press meet held yesterday, Nani said that Opposition leader and TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu lost his mental balance and that the SEC should get him admitted in the Vizag mental hospital for treatment. Nani also said that neither Naidu nor Nimmagadda could stop the victory of YCP in the panchayat polls. He said that attempts to thwart the win would only result in them getting crushed underneath the Jagannatha Ratha Chakralu.

When the reporters asked about Naidu’s letter on the SEC to the Centre, Nani said that all of them were drama artistes and that both of them were not separate entities. “Nimmagadda will do what Naidu says and will consult Naidu to take up the future course of action,” he said.

Further, he alleged that Naidu and Nimmagadda were working in tandem to defeat YCP in the panchayat polls.

Annoyed over the remarks, Nimmagadda said that they were insulting the Election Commission and asked him to give an explanation by  evening on Friday.

To this, Nani, through his lawyer Chiranjeevi, replied that he did not make the comments intentionally and that he held the press meet only to make public the atrocities by the Opposition TDP. Nani’s lawyer told that his client had respect towards the Constitutional heads and urged the authorities to withdraw the show cause notice.

Not satisfied with the explanation, the SEC issued a 7-page order later in the evening. Earlier, Nani had made several personal comments and insulting remarks against Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar. Several old videos of Kodali Nani challenging Nimmagadda are going viral online as Nimmagadda is taking revenge against him. Netizens are trolling Nani by editing out his old videos against Nimmagadda.
