Failed Deal Of 5 Cr Behind K’taka Minister’s Sex Tape Leak?

Karnataka ex-minister Ramesh Jarkiholi’s sex scandal and leaked tape row created a sensation among the political circles. Though Ramesh claimed innocence, he resigned to his ministry job on Wednesday and added that the law will take its due course. But is there a big deal behind it? Former CM Kumaraswamy thinks so and he made some notable comments.

Kumaraswamy added that blackmailers in this episode had demanded Rs 5 crore from ex-minister Ramesh before releasing an alleged video. The deal failed and eventually the video came out, said Kumaraswamy.

Defending the involved politician, Kumaraswamy said no one is talking about the woman because here the whole thing was to put Ramesh out of his ministry post.

Further, the JD(S) leader added that there are many such activists who claim to have sex tapes of politicians and such people should be investigated and booked for blackmail and extortion. Kumaraswamy demanded that in Ramesh’s case the police should do an honest probe and bring out the facts.

Meanwhile this case has made six BJP ministers to approach a City Civil Court seeking restrain on the media from publishing any defamatory content against them. Overall this sex-tape is pulling a lot of plugs and there is a fear among ministers who have secret affairs.
