Actress turned politician Khushbu Sundar is contesting the Tamil Assembly elections. She is the BJP candidate from Thousand Lights constituency and on Thursday she filed her nomination. In the election affidavit, Khushbu declared her assets which tune up to Rs 22.55 crore.
When the assets are classified, the immovable ones are valued at Rs 17.99 crore while her husband who is a director in Tamil film industry has Rs 16.57 crore worth immovable assets. She has outstanding loans valued at Rs 3.45 crore and her husband debts are worth Rs 5.55 crore.
Coming to the moveable assets of Khushbu and her husband Sundar are worth Rs 4.55 crore and Rs 1.83 crore respectively. She also claimed that she owns 8.5 kilos of Gold and 78 kilos of silver. Sundar has 495 grams of the yellow metal and nine kilos of silver. Residential buildings in Telangana and Ooty, non-farm lands in more than one location in Tamil Nadu besides flats and residential buildings here and suburbs were also mentioned in the election affidavit.
On the criminal record, Khushbu mentioned that she has four cases against her.
Last year in October, Khushbu jumped from Congress to BJP and she was given the due recognition in the saffron party.
Tamil Nadu will go for polling on April 6th.
