Pawan More Interested In Movies Than Politics: Nani

Minister Kodali Nani mocked at Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan for lacking awareness about political issues as he is used to delivering dialogues in movies reading scripts written by others.

He said that Kalyan does not have interest in politics. He is more interested in movies and that is why he is still failing to understand the dynamics in politics even after being defeated in two constituencies when he contested during the last general elections. The Jana Sena chief considers politics as a business, he opined.

Nani reminded that when Vivekananda Reddy was murdered, the TDP was in power and that the evidences were collected under that party’s rule. It was in March 2019 that the murder happened and TDP was in power till May that year.

After the YCP took charge, cases were registered against more persons. It should be remembered that Naidu did not get cases filed against YCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy or his supporters in connection with the case, Nani pointed out.

“Viveka’s daughter went to the court and got the case transferred to the CBI. Recently, she met the CBI officials in New Delhi and lamented that investigation was being delayed. Reacting to her statement, Pawan says that the state government is not expediting the probe into the case and this means he lacks awareness. In fact, Pawan’s criticism should be against the BJP but not the YCP,” he said.

The minister said that TDP, BJP and Jana Sena were trying to create communal tensions in the state by trying to portray that Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy as anti-Hindu. By doing so, all the three parties want to bag the Hindu votes, he pointed out.

On the chariot gutting incident in Antarvedi, Nani asked why was Pawan not seeking a CBI inquiry into it. The BJP is keen on protecting Hindus and their culture. The state government asked for a CBI probe into Antarvedi incident and what is stopping the BJP from getting it done, the minister questioned.

The state government had already filed cases against many in connection with the spate of attacks on temples and sent some of the guilty to jails. A few of them are out on bails too, he said.

If the BJP and Jana Sena are committed to investigation into the attacks on 150 temples in the state, they should try to get it done by the CBI and stop levelling baseless allegations, he asserted.
