KCR Calls For Cabinet Meet; To Decide On Lockdown

Telangana CM has called for a cabinet meeting tomorrow at Pragathi Bhavan and the agenda of this meeting is lockdown. Many states across the country are observing lockdown due to high rise in Covid-19 cases and there is a criticism on the Telangana government that it is not bothered about lockdown owing to the economy.

However, the Telangana government is in view that despite the restrictions in many states, the virus influence hasn’t come down. To discuss the same with the council of ministers, KCR has called for a cabinet meeting.

KCR will also be taking ministers’ opinions too in this meeting and if not lockdown, what kind of measures should the government take to bring down the virus impact in the state.

There is also criticism that KCR deliberately delayed the lockdown decision because of the Ramzan festival under the influence of MIM. If not complete lockdown, a partial lockdown in the form of weekend lockdown might be imposed.
