Why Can’t CM Post Be On Contract Basis: Sharmila

Unemployment is a big issue in Telangana. The TRS government though has made tall claims that it did provide over one lakh jobs, still there is a rise in the unemployed youth. The poll promise of Unemployment Allowance Scheme (UAS) is yet to be fulfilled and it’s been three years now.

Since announcing her political entry, YS Sharmila has laid more focus on this unemployment issue and on many occasions, she met students and others to listen to their problems. Once again Sharmila attacked CM KCR and took a swipe at him for encouraging contract basis jobs.

“It appears that all jobs in Telangana are contract based. Then why can’t the CM post be on contract too?” questioned Sharmila. Taking up the issue of 658 staff nurses who were recruited in 2017 but yet to be inducted that got published in a newspaper, she added, “In this Corona times, the TRS government has decided to hire medical staff on contract but before that the six hundred odd staff nurses should be given permanent employment.”

Sharmila’s picking up the right issues but she needs more voice so that it reaches Pragathi Bhavan. Else these tweets would go waste and ultimately the unemployed youth will be at loss.
