The decline in the number of cases in many states is a bit relieving in India. Telangana state is speeding up the vaccination drive now. The state government is organizing special drives to vaccinate the super-spreaders.
After Telangana CM KCR ordered to categorize the super-spreaders, Minister Harish Rao discussed with Chief Secretary and Health officials. The government decided to conduct a special drive from the 28th of this month to vaccinate the super-spreaders.
Auto-drivers, Cab drivers, hotels, Saloon staff, vegetable and fruit vendors, florists, meat shop workers, ration dealers, LPG gas supply workers, alcohol store workers, and some others are categorized as Super-spreaders.
Telangana government also allowed the vaccinations to be administered in private organizations. The private offices can vaccinate their staff in their workplaces. Further to get the respective staff vaccinated, the companies should collaborate with private hospitals. 18 years and old should get registered in the Cowin portal to get vaccinated.
