Since this morning, there was a huge rush at MLA Etala Rajender’s residence at Hyderabad. Former MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, Telangana Jana Samithi founder Kondarama Reddy and many other leaders have met him. After meeting Etala, Konda said this meeting has nothing to do with politics.
But then reports are coming out that Etala has decided to join the BJP. It seems the central leadership of BJP has also given its consent for the intake of Etala into the party and so the rebel TRS leader might fly to New Delhi to take up the saffron flag.
During the lunch hours, BJP National Working President JP Nadda held a virtual meeting with Telangana BJP leaders including party chief Bandi Sanjay. In this very meeting Nadda gave a nod for Etala’s entry.
Also we are hearing that after New Delhi’s tour, Etala is likely to offer resignation to his MLA post. So another by-election will be inevitable.
