Kishan Reddy Gives Clarity On Etala Joining BJP

Since Etala has been stripped off his minister post in the TRS government, speculations were rife that he would launch his own party, join hands with former MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy and that he would join the BJP.

Though Etala denied speculations that he would join the BJP, Union minister of state Kishan Reddy has given some clarity on the issue. Speaking to the media, Reddy said that the BJP was trying to strengthen their party to combat the monarchical rule of KCR. He called upon all the political leaders to get united to dethrone KCR.

Kishan Reddy said that Etala would meet BJP national president J. P. Nadda in New Delhi. He also said that Etala travelled to Delhi after speaking to BJP state president Bandi Sanjay. He also said that all the BJP leaders were welcoming the entry of Etala and that there was a congenial atmosphere in the party.

On BJP senior leader and former minister Enagala Peddireddy’s dissent over Etala’s entry into the saffron party, Kishan Reddy said that they would discuss in the party and that there was no need to speak about it in the public.

Reacting to Etala joining the BJP, Peddireddy said that it was common for leaders to join and leave parties. He seemed to be hurt with the BJP leadership not consulting him on Etala joining the party.

Peddireddy, who is eyeing a ticket from Huzurabad in the next elections, said that he would chalk his action plan if the party does not offer him the ticket from the constituency. Huzurabad is the stronghold of Etala.
