Two Telugu students, hailing from Hyderabad and Guntur, were apprehended in the US for allegedly shoplifting from a Hoboken ShopRite grocery store. The 20-year-old from Hyderabad and 22-year-old from Guntur, were accused of stealing 27 items valued at Rs. 12,948.29 (USD 155), only paying for two. Detected via CCTV footage, they were reported to the police by store managers. Despite offering to pay double and pleading forgetfulness, they were arrested, citing store rules.
