Ban on Gutkha, Panmasala imposed in Telangana

The Commissioner of Food Safety has prohibited the production, storage, distribution, transportation, and sale of Gutkha/Panmasala containing tobacco and nicotine, effective from May 24, 2024 in Telangana State.
