Hyderabad-based Lokesh Machines Limited’s ASMI 9x19mm Submachine Pistol is set to be inducted by the Indian Army. The pistol, developed in collaboration with the DRDO, has successfully completed user trials and is expected to be used by Special Forces. This marks a significant milestone in India’s defence manufacturing, showcasing the country’s capabilities in producing indigenous small arms.
