The holy town of Tirumala continues to witness a surge in devotees seeking the blessings of Lord Venkateswara. The Sarvadarshan queue, which allows devotees a glimpse of the deity, currently takes 18 hours to complete, with pilgrims waiting in 21 compartments. Yesterday, a staggering 77,332 devotees visited Tirumala, with 30,540 offering their hair. The temple’s Hundi (donation box) recorded an impressive revenue of Rs. 4.38 crores, reflecting the unwavering faith and generosity of the devotees towards the upkeep of the revered shrine.
