The Hyderabad Metro is set to introduce an Open Loop Ticketing System (OTS) in the near future. This new system will eliminate the need to purchase tickets in advance, as fares will be charged based on the distance traveled. Unlike the current system, where getting off at a different station renders the ticket unusable, the OTS will provide a more seamless and convenient experience for commuters. The implementation of this system is expected to take place within the current fiscal year, enhancing the overall efficiency and accessibility of the Hyderabad Metro network.
