TN Investigates Bias Against Married Women at iPhone Factory

The Centre has sought a report from the Tamil Nadu government regarding allegations that married women were denied work at the Foxconn plant in Sriperumbudur. The move comes after reports surfaced of discrimination against married female employees at the iPhone manufacturing facility. The Ministry of Electronics and IT has asked the state government to investigate the matter and submit a detailed report on the situation at the plant.
