Users of Instagram may soon see changes to their private chats. Parent company Meta Platforms announced plans to remove end to end encryption for Instagram messages from May 8. The move may allow the platform to review chats to detect harmful content and protect minors. However, privacy experts warn the decision could raise serious concerns about user data security.
