Mumbai has added more new billionaires this year than New York City and London, according to the Hurun Global Rich List 2026. The report states Mumbai created 15 new billionaires in 2026, while New York added 14 and London 9. Experts say India’s growing startup ecosystem and strong investment activity are driving this surge in wealth creation.
