Neglecting Parents? 15% Salary Cut In TG

Telangana Cabinet approved the historic “Telangana Employees Accountability and Monitoring of Parental Support Bill, 2026.” Under this legislation, 15% of the salary or ₹10,000 (whichever is lower) will be directly deducted from the earnings of government, public, and private sector employees who neglect their dependent parents. This amount will be transferred directly to the parents’ bank accounts through designated officials.
