Gallantry Heroes Get Lifetime Free Train Travel

The Government of India has approved lifelong complimentary train travel for recipients of Sena, Nau Sena and Vayu Sena gallantry medals. Awardees can travel free in First Class, 2AC and AC Chair Car on Indian Railways with one companion. The concession also applies to spouses of deceased awardees and parents of unmarried posthumous recipients.
