Iran War May Leave India Short of Beer This Summer

India could face a beer shortage this summer as the Iran war disrupts supplies of glass bottles and aluminium cans used by breweries. Gas shortages have forced several glass manufacturers to cut production, raising packaging costs sharply. Brewers warn of supply crunch during peak season and are seeking a 12–15% price hike from state governments.
