Indian-Origin 11-Year-Old Girl Creats Record in UK Chess

Indian-origin chess prodigy Bodhana Sivanandan has created history by becoming the top-ranked female chess player in England at just 11 years old. The North London student holds a FIDE rating of 2366 and recently surpassed four-time British women’s champion Lan Yao. She has also entered the world’s top 100 female players, currently ranked 72nd globally.
