Air India has reported a massive loss of around $2.4 billion (₹22,000 crore) for the latest financial year, pushing it to seek fresh financial support from its shareholders, including Tata Group and Singapore Airlines. The airline’s losses were driven by operational disruptions, geopolitical tensions, and a deadly crash that hit performance. Discussions are ongoing, but the final funding amount is yet to be decided.
