Following the failure of talks with the government, RTC workers launched a strike at midnight on Tuesday. Consequently, RTC buses have been grounded at bus depots. Police security has been deployed at the depots. Meanwhile, RTC MD Nagireddy stated that the government is positive regarding workers’ demands. He affirmed that the government will resolve the issues in a phased manner.
