The Centre has announced a major push for Amaravati with a Rs 1,299 crore Central Government Office Complex and Rs 1,235 crore housing project for central government employees. All central government offices will be housed within the CGO Complex, further strengthening Amaravati’s position as Andhra Pradesh’s administrative capital.
