The TTD is planning a special initiative to mark a major milestone related to the famous Srivari Laddu. According to reports, the temple body has proposed releasing a commemorative gold coin after concluding that the iconic prasadam has a history of around 310 years. The proposal has been sent to the AP government, and if approved, the coin is expected to be unveiled during the upcoming Brahmotsavam celebrations. The Srivari Laddu received its GI tag in 2009 and remains one of India’s most recognised temple prasadams.
