The India contingent delivered a decent performance at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and finished fourth in the medal standings with 39 medals winning 13 gold, 17 silver and 9 bronze. Despite winning lesser medals this time than the previous games, the biggest takeaway is the stupendous show by the Boxing team. The baton has been passed to India at the closing ceremony for the 2030 Games in Ahmedabad.
