8.7 Crore Indian Youth Without Education & Jobs: NITI Aayog

NITI Aayog has estimated that around 8.7 crore Indians aged 15 to 29 were not in education, employment or training in 2021. The report identifies them as NEET youth, highlighting the need for affordable skilling, better training opportunities and stronger links between education and employment.
