The Flydubai co-pilot accused of attacking Captain Smit Machchhar during a Tel Aviv-bound flight has reportedly been identified as Omani national Hamam al-Hammami. CNN, citing sources, reported that he had earlier been removed from flying duties at Oman Air over concerns about his alleged extremist views. He later joined Flydubai and had worked there for around eight months.
