Pitch invader Jarvo aka Jarvo69 shot to fame after running into the pitch twice during the ongoing India-England Test series. After crashing into the pitch in both Lord’s and Leeds Tests, Jarvo has once again interrupted the match by invading the ground during the ongoing Oval Test match.
Jarvo crashed into the pitch the other day when England was batting. He took a bowling runup in the midway of the game and tried to bowl to the batsman at the crease, Ollie Pope. In the process, he collided with the non-striker batsman Jonny Bairstow.
Soon, the stewards have taken him away from the field. He was then arrested on suspicion of assault.
“A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault following an incident at the Oval Cricket Ground on Friday, 3 September. He remains in custody at a south London police station,” read the statement from the police.
Jarvo was banned for life from entering Headingly after he invaded the pitch during the third test.
Meanwhile, Team India scored 43/0 in its second innings at the time of stumps on Day 2. It is trailing behind England by 56 runs.
