Ajaz Patel
Left arm spinner Ajaz Patel has scripted history in the second Test match between New Zealand and India in Mumbai. Patel claimed all the ten wickets of Indian batsmen and became only the third bowler to take all the ten wickets in an innings.
Ajaz Patel registered 10 wickets in 47.5 overs conceding 119 runs. With this Patel joined England’s Jim Laker and India’s Anil Kumble to have knocked out a complete batting side.
“ALL 10 WICKETS for AJAZ PATEL in Mumbai!,” tweeted the official handle of BlackCaps while the cricketing fraternity hailed the efforts of Patel.
India were bowled out for 325 runs in the first innings. Mayank Agarwal scored 150 while wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha scored 52. Rest of the Indian batsmen did not make a decent mark.
