Virat Kohli Trolled For ‘chewing gum’ During National Anthem

Ever since Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has been stripped from ODI captaincy, controversies are surrounding him. Following the Test series loss against South Africa, Virat shocked everyone by announcing to leave Test captaincy and there are still big rumours that all is not well between Virat Kohli and BCCI.

Now Virat Kohli is caught in another controversy and this might be a serious one. On Sunday, India played their third ODI against South Africa and before the beginning of the match, the protocol of National Anthem was initiated.

When India’s National Anthem is being played, Virat Kohli was caught on camera chewing gum. This did not go down well with TV viewers and many took to their social media and criticized Virat for his disrespect towards the National Anthem.

It’s a shocking visual but it’s true that Virat is not interested in singing the National Anthem.

Meanwhile South Africa whitewashed India in the three match ODI series and this is Proteas first ever limited overs series victory against the Men In Blue since 2016.
