#IPLAuction: SunRisers Trolled

The mega auction of the Indian Premier League is witnessing some stunning numbers. Cricketer Ishan Kishan was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 15.25 crore and this is the biggest bid in the auction so far.

However, our own SunRisers Hyderabad looked completely out of the race in the auction as the franchise seems to be disinterested in the bidding process. So far SRH team has bought just three players and they are Washington Sundar, T Natarajan and West Indies cricketer Nicollas Pooran. Shockingly Pooran was bought for Rs 10.75 Crore which is a huge amount.

Upset with the attitude of SRH franchise in the auction, Orange Army fans trolled them on social media. Some questioned why SRH is in the auction when they are least interested. The team has still over Rs 50 crore in its wallet but is not shelling out money on important players.

SRH retained Kane Williamson, Abdul Samad and Umran Malik and fans wondered whether they were going to play the IPL with just three players.

Indeed it’s true that SRH’s display in the auction was poor. Hope they make things better on the second day of the auction and buy some serious players who are match winners.
