Mumbai Indians bagged the worst record as the first team to lose the first 7 matches in IPL history. Top of all, in the MI vs CSK match that happened yesterday, the Mumbai Indians Captain also scripted an unnecessary record as the player who has the most ducks in the IPL.
After getting dismissed for a duck against Chennai Super Kings, MI captain Rohit has made it totally 14 times as of now in IPL. Though this star batter has played very well in many matches of IPL in the past, in IPL 2022, he has failed to score even a single fifty.
After Rohit Sharma, it is Piyush Chawla and Harbhajan Singh who had been dismissed for a duck 13 times in the IPL.
Unfortunately, Mumbai Indians is putting up a poor show this season. Mumbai Indians team is strong with a balanced setup of batters, bowlers and alrounders. However, the bad luck is following the team this season.
At this rate, Mumbai Indians is no longer the season favourites and we have to see if the team gets qualified to playoffs.
