Team India is on the verge of a knock-out in the ongoing Asia Cup tournament. After winning two games on a trot in the group stage, India lost to Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the Super 4s. It now needs to win against Afghanistan and also hope other results come in its way.
Meanwhile, these two losses are very close and India got defeated in the last over in both the games. In the match against Sri Lanka, Indian bowlers came back strong in the middle overs and brought back the game in our favour.
In the last two overs, Sri Lanka needed 21 runs to win. Senior bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar failed once again and conceded 14 runs off that over. In the final over, Sri Lanka needed only 7 runs to win. The bowler was the young pacer Arshdeep Singh.
He tried his best and bowled tight yorkers in that over. But the target was too less for him. Meanwhile, in the middle of the over, Arshdeep went to captain Rohit Sharma and asked for a field setting. Already frustrated Rohit didn’t pay an ear to Arshdeep and just walked away with an irritated expression. Arshdeep gave a helpless expression.
