Pics: Kriti Sanon & Kiara Advani Perform At Women’s IPL Opening Ceremony

The first-ever edition of the Women’s Premier League is all set to begin today. Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium is hosting the first match between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Giants.

Star actresses of Bollywood, Kiara Advani and Kriti Sanon, performed at the opening ceremony of WPL 2023. These B-Town ladies will added glamour to the first edition of WPL. Along with them, singer AP Dhillon also performed live at the opening ceremony.

Announcing the same, WPL’s official handle tweeted, “A star-studded line-up… D.Y.Patil Stadium will be set for an evening of glitz and glamour. 𝐃𝐨 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬 the opening ceremony of #TATAWPL.”

BCCI made huge arrangements for the opening ceremony. Many veteran and star cricketers have attended the event.

A total of five teams will participate in the tournament. There will be 20 matches in the league stage. The top team on the points table will qualify for the final. The second and third-positioned teams will play the eliminator. The final will be held at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai, on March 26.
