Seven Telugu Tycoons Among India’s 100 Billionaires

Business tycoons from Telugu states have featured in the list of 100 top billionaires from India according to Hurun, a leading global research outlet.

As per the latest list released by the company, who is known for tracking wealth and business trends of rich personalities, seven prominent businessmen from Hyderabad in the top 100 wealthiest persons category of the country. Together these seven top billionaires hold a massive combined net worth of over 4,01,200 crore rupees.

Murali of Divi’s Laboratories grabbed the top position among Hyderabad billionaires with an estimated net worth of 1,25,400 crore rupees. Major infrastructure leaders P. Pitchi Reddy and P.V. Krishna Reddy from Megha Engineering (MEIL) also secured top spots in the national 100 list.

Pitchi Reddy holds wealth worth 53,100 crore rupees while Krishna Reddy reported assets worth 52,100 crore rupees. Their engineering group took giant infrastructure projects across India boosting their personal fortunes.

Sridhar Pinnapureddy and family associated with CtrlS Data Centers ranked high holding 46,100 crore rupees wealth. Meanwhile P.V. Ramprasad Reddy from Aurobindo Pharma holds 39,900 crore rupees and B. Parthasaradhi Reddy family of Hetero Group holds 39,400 crore rupees.

Overall, Hyderabad city secured fourth position nationally in terms of overall wealthy individuals count, following behind Mumbai, New Delhi, and Bengaluru cities. Gautam Adani and Mukesh Ambani are leading the list of billionaires
