‘Man Who Ran Away From Cricket’ – Gambhir’s Satirical Tweet

Published by

The heated argument between Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli has gone viral and it is not going down as a new controversial update comes on it each day.

LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir has taken an indirect dig at news anchor Rajat Sharma after the latter says if he was jealous of Virat Kohli.

In the video of the TV show, Rajat Sharma is heard saying that Kohli’s popularity has become a concern for Gambhir and that was on show in the spat that happened after the match. Rajat Sharma further claims that Gambhir’s behavior was against the sportsman spirit of the game and it was not expected from an MP and former player.

The video went viral and Gambhir took it to Twitter writing, ‘Man who ran away from Delhi Cricket citing “pressure” seems over eager to sell paid PR as concern for cricket!’

Rajat Sharma was the DDCA president and resigned in 2019 citing pressures and pulls of the cricket administration. Gautam Gambhir further added to the tweet, ‘Yanhi Kalyug aur yahna bhagore apne adaalat chalate hain’ meaning ‘this is Kalyug where fugitives run their ‘court’ (Aapki Adalat by Rajat Sharma).
