MS Dhoni’s team CSK reached the finals in IPL 2023 beating Gujarat Titans on Tuesday. With its fifth win in seven Qualifier 1 appearances since 2011, CSK creates a new record by being in the 10th final of IPL.
CSK won the IPL trophy four times so far. CSK has consistently reached the knockout stage and the team is heading for their 10th final on May 28 in Ahmedabad.
Twitter is showering praises on MS Dhoni for his decisions and that took the team to record tenth final in the IPL. Mumbai despite being the most successful team in IPL, has made only six appearances in the final.
Apart from the record of reaching the final for the 10th time, the Dhoni team registered another record in Chepauk on Tuesday by becoming the first team to pick all Gujarat’s ten wickets in a match.
In the last match, CSK defeated Gujarat Titans by 15 runs. The CSK defended a modest total of 172 runs. Ravindra Jadeja and Maheesh Theekshana stood out with their excellent bowling performances.
