IPL: SRH Gives Cummins Highest Package Of Decade

History has been created in the ongoing IPL auction as SunRisers Hyderabad went bonkers in their bidding war to acquire Australian all rounder Pat Cummins. The Hyderabad side spent unprecedented Rs 20.50 crores on Cummins.

Cummins now enters the record books as the costliest player in the history of IPL, ahead of stalwarts like Dhoni, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Cummins won the World Test Championship and the coveted World Cup this year and that grew his stakes massively. He has now created an all time record by becoming the costliest player ever.

Social media is flooded with memes on Cummins as SRH fans are sharing the recent meme material from Ram’s Skanda where Srikanth talks about “Highest package of the decade.” This is perfectly applicable for SRH-Cummins saga.

Another Australian gun player, Travis Head is also with SRH after he was sold for Rs 6.8 crores. Wanindu Hasaranga was sold for a base price of Rs 1.5 crore to SRH.
