Glory: India Historically Win T20 World Cup

The much-anticipated finale of the T20 World Cup has been wrapped up in what has been a nail-biting game of cricket. India faced South Africa in the finale in an attempt to win their first ICC trophy in the last 13 years.

After being put in to bat first in the game, India scored 176 and set South Africa a target of 177. South Africa then came out with great intent and at one point, they needed 27 runs from 26 balls.

But in the end, India held their nerve thanks to the brilliance of Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh. With 16 needed off the final over, Hardik Pandya played it safe and won it for India.

With this win, India has put an end to the hunt for the ICC trophy that has been going on for 13 long years.

Rohit Sharma, who has been in impeccable batting form this year led the men in blue to a historic win. This win will go down as one of India’s greatest nights in cricket with the team finally getting their hands on silverware.
