BGT: India Need 275 Runs in 54 Overs To Claim Victory

The third test of the 5-test series in the Border Gavaskar Trophy is underway. On the fifth day of the third test, India is now in a comfortable position to win. India would need 275 runs in 54 overs to win the test.

Unexpectedly, Australia lost six wickets for 60 runs on day five of the third Test match against India on Wednesday at the Brisbane Cricket Ground. Australia began their second innings with a lead of 185 runs, but they lost a series of wickets, which added pressure. Jasprit Bumrah took three wickets, while Akash Deep and Mohammed Siraj took two wickets each.

Captain Pat Cummins tried his best to put some quick runs on the board by making 22 runs from 10 balls. The team declared the innings when they were 89 for the loss of 7 wickets. It is the team’s lowest score at home. The last time they did it was in 1888, and then again in 1984.

Now, India would need 275 runs, with Yasashwi Jaiswal and KL Rahul already on the crease.
